A smaller Iowa casino is the Diamond Jo, a paddle wheel boat gambling hall in Dubuque, with 17,813 square feet, 776 slots, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 sq.ft., 535 slots, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river boat gambling hall, The Isle of Capri, is open never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 one armed bandits, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 square foot water based casino in Clinton, has 506 one armed bandits, 14 table games, live entertainment, and Thursday chemin de fer events.
Iowa casinos offer an excellent deal of tax income to the state government of Iowa, which has allowed the funding of many state wide activities. Visitors have grown at a rapid rate along with the demand for companies and a gain in jobs.
