If you like to have a beer ever so often, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and keep all money, credit cards and checkbooks at home. Only take whatever cash you anticipate to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Realistic more like. You could have a success after a drunken evening out with your buddies and be lucky enough to catch a long roll at a smokin craps game. Keep that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and bet. These activities simply do not mix.
Leaving your moola at home might be a bit drastic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is necessary. If you bet to win, then don’t drink alcohol and play. If you are able to afford to burn your money without a concern, then drink all the free beer you are able to handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunk as a skunk head throws away every little thing!
